CanineCare Compass started with a simple frustration: care was everywhere except where it needed to be. Scattered across messaging apps, paper notes, and half-forgotten photos, the daily reality of coordinating a dog's wellbeing was a mess. We set out to fix that.
Our story
It began the way most good ideas do — with a missed medication reminder and a panicked group chat. Our founding team includes dog owners who've juggled multiple walkers, a professional sitter who was tired of sending post-walk update texts, and a vet who wished clients would bring organized records instead of blurry screenshots.
We realized the problem wasn't a lack of caring — it was a lack of a shared, trustworthy system. Owners needed confidence that their walker actually showed up. Walkers needed a fast way to log visits with proof. Clinics needed context before an appointment, not after. So we built CanineCare Compass: one timeline that syncs every caregiver, every entry, every day.
Today we serve dog owners, independent walkers, small clinics, and trainers who all share the same goal: better, more transparent care for the dogs who depend on us.
